Note: This show has been renamed to "O nguim in win ball" - which in Seereer translates to "Black people's believe in God" or "African religion" for short. It is presented by Doudou Diouf every Thursday night from 22:00 GMT.  Doudou addresses the history of Traditional African religions and their spiritual and belief systems. The show's emphasis is on all Traditional African religions and not just the Seereer religion  (A ƭat Roog). 


About this show :  This religious and cultural show discusses issues relating to Seereer religion and culture with particular emphasis on Seereer religion (A ƭat Roog). Topics of discussion include : Seereer religious chants; Roog Seen / Kooh Seen; the pangool; Seereer creation narrative; prayer; divination; religious laws and ethics; practising A ƭat Roog; celebrating Seereer religious festivals; legends; the meaning and origin of Seereer religious festivals and their significance and influence on Seereer and Senegambian culture. Tamsier Joof is joined by special guests every Sunday from 1:00 PM to discuss these matters and more. A repeat of this show is broadcast every Thursday from 2:00 PM. 


Seereer religion and culture are also discussed every week on the Cosaan Seereer Show which broadcast every Saturday from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM  GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
